Koi are famous for their beautiful, fluid, rhythmic swimming. This is where rough splashing turns into graceful movement — coordinated arm strokes and side-breathing for the first time.

🎓Prerequisites

Independent Floating
Able to float on the back unassisted for at least 5 seconds.

Streamline Push-Offs
Can push off the wall in a tight streamline with arms overhead.

Short Independent Swims
Comfortable swimming 5 meters independently without stopping or standing up.
Passing to the Next Level
- ✓Swim alternating freestyle arm strokes with a steady kick underneath
- ✓Turn the head to breathe without stopping the kick or losing streamline
- ✓String strokes and breaths together over a 10-meter stretch
- ✓Flip onto the back and kick with straight arms at the sides
- ✓Swim 15 meters of continuous freestyle with rhythm
- ✓Demonstrate a safe underwater recovery from a stop
